Spring Marketing Ideas to Help Your Business Bloom

It’s finally time to stop and smell the roses… except, you don’t have time to! While winter usually slows down sales for businesses, spring is when things start to pick back up again. If you haven’t implemented your spring marketing ideas, it’s time! Read through some of our tips for successful spring marketing, and help your business bloom this season!

Have A Plan

1. Update Your Goals

If you’re trying to start a marketing strategy and haven’t set goals, how do you know what you’re doing? Having goals is the first step in any plan, especially a marketing plan. Your goals will help you narrow down exactly what you want to do, how much you want to make, who you want to reach, and how you will ultimately deliver your campaigns.

2. Budget

Going into a marketing campaign without a budget is a costly mistake, literally. If you don’t set a budget and allocate resources accordingly, you could find yourself losing more money than you could potentially make.

3. Review Current/Past Marketing

Your last step before you get into your actual marketing campaign is figuring out what is working and what’s not, and what has worked in the past and what has not. Don’t make the mistake of repeating past failures. Use those mistakes to learn about what you can improve upon to have more success in the future.

Spring Marketing Campaigns

1. Refresh Your Website

Do you still have a website from the 1990’s? Or, do you have a beautiful website that’s not seeing the results you expected? Websites aren’t all about what’s on the surface (although, if yours is still going strong from 1993, it’s time for a face lift). There is a lot that goes into creating a successful website. The branding should be cohesive throughout, information should be easily accessible and understandable, images should load quickly, and every page should be built with the highest SEO results possible. On top of that, your website needs to be updated regularly with new, relevant information to STAY in the top of search engine results time after time.

2. Rebrand

Spring is the time of new beginnings, so if you’re thinking of rebranding, now might be the best time to do so. As you rebrand during the spring season, let your community in on the fun. Hold a poll on social media to help choose your new logo out of your 3 favorites, have people guess what your colors will be, or run giveaways on social media to get your new branding seen! Letting the community in on changes to your business helps them feel trusting of what you’re doing and even involved in the process.

3. Promote A Spring Special

Have a new product? Offering a new service? Getting new specials you can offer from your provider? Promote them this spring! Offering a seasonal product or service or special limited time promotions are great ways to boost sales this season.

4. Host An Event

If you’re able, hosting an event to get people in the door of your business or excited about your products is always a good idea. Your event could be as simple as having a food truck serve lunch at your business, or it could be as elaborate as having a mobile shop set up at a big community event. There are tons of ideas for getting involved in events or hosting your own, and the turnout is usually well worth it!

5. Cater to the Season

Don’t be afraid to have all your marketing channels catering to the season. Social media, blogging, sales, your website, TV commercials, radio, and more can all be included in your spring marketing campaign. Using themes, national days, holidays, or activities that happen around this time of year are all great material to incorporate.

Spring Themes

Who doesn’t love a theme? Check out some of these Spring themes and choose one (or a couple) for your marketing campaigns!
